SBS 포트리스 2는 포트리스 월드를 지키는 포트리스 기사단과 이를 파괴하려는 다크 포트리스의 대결로 이야기가 진행된다. 다크 시티 지하에 숨어 지내던 다크 포트리스가 포트리스 월드를 정복하기 위해 최신 무기를 앞세우고 전쟁을 시작한다. 다크 시티, 화산지대, 사막지대, 설원지대를 차례로 정복하고 마지막 남은 초원지대에서 포트리스 기사단과 전투를 벌이게 된다. 어린이를 대상으로 제작된 애니메이션을 바탕으로 해 약간은 유치해 보일 수도 있으나, 귀여운 캐릭터들을 보며 즐겁게 게임을 즐기기엔 오히려 좋다.
